about to become more terrifying. The monsters are lurking. They are close.
Hawkins believes he is safe, but the Shadow Monster has a plan to enter our
dimension and seize everything when it exists once and for all.
After the school dance at the end of the second season, it's
time to go back to work. The eight episodes of the third season of
"Stranger Things" began filming on April 23, 2018 and the recordings
were extended until mid-November of the same year, with the answer to a
question that the fans of the series are making themselves from October 2017:
What will happen to the protagonists and the people of Hawkins after becoming
visible that there is an even greater threat than the Demogorgon from the
Upside Down?
Netflix has not provided details about it, although it did
take advantage of the recent end of the year celebrations to share the release
date of the third season of "Stranger Things Season 3" in 2019, it
released a video announcing July 4 next as the day of the return of the drama.
He also said that the new events will be set in the summer of 1985.
HISTORY OF
"STRANGER THINGS"
"Stranger Things" takes place in the early of 1980s,
in the fictional town of Hawkins, in Indiana, USA. The story begins when a boy
named Will Byers mysteriously disappears, uncovering a series of strange events
that take place in the area, the result of experiments carried out by the
government in a nearby scientific laboratory.
As the days go by, disturbing supernatural forces and a very
strange girl appear in the city. She, along with Will's friends, are in charge
of looking for him, without imagining what they will have to face to find him.
The first season begins in November of 1983, when Will Byers
is kidnapped by a creature of the Upside Down (World of the reverse). His
mother, Joyce, and the town's police chief, Jim Hopper, are looking for Will.
At the same time, Eleven, a young psychokinetic, escapes from the laboratory
and helps Mike, Dustin and Lucas, to find his friend Will.
The second season takes place a year later. Will was
rescued, but few know the details of the events. When it is discovered that
Will is still being influenced by Upside Down entities, his friends and family
discover that there is an even greater threat to his universe from the Upside
Down.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN
SEASON 3 OF "STRANGER THINGS"?
The new episodes of "Stranger Things" will take
place in the summer of 1985, just one year after the end of the second season,
and at the beginning, according to executive producer Shawn Levy, the
relationships that were born last season will be addressed: of Mike and Eleven
and also that of Max and Lucas.
"They are 13 or 14 year olds. What does love mean in
that phase of life? It can never be something simple or stable, and there's a
lot of fun in that instability, "Levy said in dialogue with The Hollywood
Reporter.
The fact that it happens in summer will mean a radical
change in the scenarios. That is, there will be no school, but pool days,
camps, parades and fireworks on July 4. According to the producer, the
atmosphere will be fun and relax, but then it will inevitably become
supevibile.
The Shadow Monster will reappear on stage. In fact, he is
already stalking both inside and outside of Upside Down, more determined than
ever to reach his goals using new strategies. Without doubt, the third season
will delve more into the mythology of Upside Down and especially of this
creature.
"The dogs did not finish him in the second season, so
he's going to use new strategies," Levy told Variety.
On the other hand, at the end of December it was rumoured,
based on information shared in iMDB that was later erased, that Russian
intelligence - spies on American soil - would also be a participant in the new
events of "Stranger Things".
The producer also talked about the unexpected chemistry of
two characters that became inseparable with the passage of the chapters, Steve
and Dustin: "I'll just say we're not going to forget the magic of 'Papa
Steve.' I do not want to tell much more, but it literally gave me the feeling
that we were hanging around a gold mine with this new facet of the character.
"
TRAILER OF
"STRANGER THINGS"
On March 20, 2019 Netflix shared the first official trailer
of the third season of "Stranger Things". The video of almost three
minutes shows the return and growth of Eleven, Dustin, Will, Mikes and company.
With the phrase "we are not kids anymore", these teenagers will face
the terrifying Demogorgon and other occult forces.
The streaming platform has not yet launched the official
trailer of the series, but shared a teaser of "Stranger Things" to
announce the release date of the new episodes of the third instalment. The
video, of 1 minute, places us in New York, specifically in the celebration of
the New Year of 1985. The emission, presented by the reporter Dick Clark, is
interrupted continuously, alternating with images of a computer. Someone hacks
a computer system, and seems to run a program or application called
"SilverCatFeeds".
Then the connection returns and Time Square is shown and the
citizens are given the countdown for the new year, but when they reach number
eleven, Mike's voice is heard shouting "Eleven!".
The report that is shown on the teaser and that aired on a
television network in Hawkins, Indiana, is sponsored by Star court Mall, a
shopping center recently opened in Hawkins. Apparently, this will be the
central location in the plot of the third instalment, as indicated by the
titles of the new chapters. "A summer can change everything", is the
final sentence of that video.

DATE OF PREMIERE OF
THE THIRD SEASON OF "STRANGER THINGS"
The eight episodes of the third season of "Stranger
Things" will premiere on Thursday, July 4, 2019 on Netflix.
WILL THERE BE ANOTHER
SEASON OF "STRANGER THINGS"?
Before the premiere of the second season of "Stranger
Things", Ross Duffer, one of the creators of the series, surprised half
the world when he declared that the series would end with its fourth season,
not yet announced by Netflix.
"We're thinking that ('Stranger Things') is something
of four seasons and then we're out," he told New York Magazine at the
time.
However, shortly after, in conversation with Entertainment
Weekly, the Duffer brothers as a whole and the executive producer Shawn Levy
said that there is a possibility that the series last longer, although not as
much as some would like.
"Hearts broke at Netflix headquarters when the brothers
ran 'four seasons' as an official ending and suddenly I got phone calls from
our actors' agents. The truth is that we are definitely going to do four
seasons and there is a good chance that there will be a fifth. Beyond that, I
think it's very unlikely, "Levy said.
That is, at least from the mouths of its filmmakers,
"Stranger Things" would have at least five seasons. However, doubts
about the continuity of the drama are still valid, especially after the
publication of a photograph of Millie Bobby Brown and Sadie Sink.
